Incubators and innovationsmiljøer

There is a limited number of incubators in Denmark but there exists a network of six publicy financed 'innovationsmijløer' (literally, innovation environments) which were created to help spin out and commercialise technological innovations.  These typically provide facilities, coaching and co-financing.

 

Innovationsmiljøer

CAT Innovation
Based in Roskilde. CAT Innovation is privately held but government back and combines a science park with pre-seed and venture investing.

DTU-Symbion Innovation
Based at the Technical University of Denmark. DTU-Symbion Innovation investments are managed by SEED Capital, of which it is a co-founder.

InnovationMidtVest
Based in Herning. (link in Danish)

NOVI Innovation
Based in a large science park near Aarhus University.

Syddansk Innovation
Based in Odense.

Østjysk Innovation
Based in Arhus.
