John Helmsøe-Zinck is the founder and Managing Partner of Via Venture Partners, an IT-focused Nordic venture capital firm. He has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years and has held senior management positions with A.T Kearney, Fujitsu-ICL, Commodore and Hewlett Packard. He was Chairman of the board for Cybercity when it was sold to Telenor.

I spoke to John Helmsøe-Zink at the Via Venture Partners office in Hellerup.  He shared his views of what's hot right now in the IT industry and how, given the financial crisis, ambitious and well-funded startups have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to steal market share.
