Resources

The Danish entrepreneurial landscape is incredibly active, and no wonder:  Denmark has little natural resources (some offshore oil and an active agricultural sector) and a small work force (5.1 million citizens) so it has to compete on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Denmark is consistently ranked as one of the best countries in the world to run a business.   Setting up a company takes little time and requires practically no investment (if you are a one-man band, otherwise 125K DKK = approx. 17 K EUR which you can invest on company assets).  To top things off, Denmark is one of the least corrupt places on earth and corporate taxes – at 25% -  are highly competitive with the rest of Europe (as opposed to personal taxes…).
